About Athletic Threads

Athletic Threads has been owned and operated by Teresa O’Hara Marsh since 1987, when the company was founded. Starting out making Athletic Bags in a back room of their home they converted into a shop, Athletic Threads has grown from not only making Bags, but also grown into a new 10,000 square foot building that we currently operate out of. This is only our latest expansion as well, as we have expanded 3 times before this building, growing not only with time, but also with success and customer satisfaction.

Teresa Owner of Athletic Threads
Teresa started Athletic Threads not only because she enjoys sewing, and the other arts that encompass that, but also because she enjoys a challenge. The company has grown from not only providing sewing, as our facilities include 3 Embroidery Machines (including a brand new, state of the art machine), a laser cutter to engrave products, but also 2 Heat Press machines, along with our multitude of sewing machines used for many different purposes.

Athletic Threads has filled many orders, including orders for the USA Olympic Women’s Softball team, Basketball uniforms for the upcoming movie A Season for the Perfect Storm about Sam Houston State University. We are also a cfisd approved vendor, and have filled a multitude of orders for the schools in the school district such as Cypress Ranch and Cy-Fair.

Since 1987 Athletic Threads has endeavored to provide organizations, schools, and sports teams with the highest quality custom apparel and spirit items. With our strikingly unique designs, you are sure to turn heads and leave the competition envious. With our great customer service and helpful employees your purchasing experience will be enjoyable and one you will not forget. We are very thankful for our wonderful customers and strive to give back to the community as much as possible. We are looking to grow but want to stick to our roots as a successful family owned business that is highly respected in the area.
